What Medical Practice Marketing Actually Costs

Nobody Will Tell You, So Here Are Our Numbers

Ask five medical marketing agencies what they charge and you will get five versions of "it depends". There is a reason: pricing is where agencies lose deals, so most of them move the conversation to a call before you have anything to compare. We publish ours. Here is the whole ladder, what sits in each tier, and — the part almost nobody shows you — what practices on those tiers have actually got back.

The Ladder

$109/month — Practice Essentials. SEO and Google Analytics reporting, on top of what every plan carries: the website itself, hosting, maintenance, security, ADA and HIPAA compliance, an SSL certificate, and website edits on request. $199/month — Practice Visibility. Adds Google Business Profile optimisation. If you spend on one thing beyond the site, spend it here. $289/month — Practice Growth. Adds advanced SEO: technical fixes, on-page work and content aimed at the searches that actually bring patients rather than the ones that look good in a report. $350/month — SEO Accelerator. Adds blogs, local directory listings and email campaigns. $650/month — Social Authority. This one is not a step up the same ladder, and it is the tier people most often misread: it is social media management and analytics reporting, not the $350 tier plus social. Three posts a week across TikTok, Instagram and Facebook with content creation, professional editing, strategy and medically accurate captions. If you want SEO as well, the tier you want is $950. $950/month — Total Practice Marketing. The SEO tiers and the social tier combined, plus Google review management and missed-call text messaging. No hidden fees and no long-term contract.

What Practices Got Back

These are published on our results page and they are each practice's own numbers, not industry averages. Owosso Dental Center received 20 website inquiries in the first six weeks after launch. Santa Fe Soul received more than 150 website inquiries from December 2025 to October 2026. C-Booth Innovations went from 74 to 414 monthly visitors from Google search between February 2025 and September 2026.

How to Read Any Agency's Price

Four questions separate a real quote from a number. What happens to the website if I leave? If the answer is anything other than "you keep it", you are renting. What is the setup fee, and what does it buy? A large one-off charge usually front-loads work that should be part of the monthly. What is the contract term? Twelve months is standard in this industry and it exists because the first three months rarely produce anything — ask what happens in month four if nothing has moved. What will you report, and will it be clicks or leads? That is the one that matters most, and here is why we know.

The Thing We Got Wrong on Our Own Site

We audited ourselves and found that 8 of our 12 own forms were not reporting submissions to analytics at all. Our /practice-website/ landing page had taken 235 sessions across its ad variants and recorded one key event. For months our reporting told us almost nobody was converting, and it was the reporting that was broken. We also found Search Console telling us we ranked at position 1 to 10 for 149 queries carrying 6,785 impressions — which produced zero clicks. We checked four of them against the live results page and were not in the top 25 for any of them. Both of those sit inside a monthly report looking like a number. If an agency shows you impressions and average position, ask them to show you the live search result. If they show you leads, ask them what fires the event.

What We Would Tell a Practice Spending Its First $300

Fix the Google Business Profile. Get the website fast on a phone. Get review volume up. In most markets those three things outperform anything else you can buy for the money, and two of them sit in our $199 tier. If someone quotes you $3,000 a month to start, ask what in that list they are doing that we are not.
